1. Are you open to the public?
Yes.
2. Are your products natural or man-made?
All our products are all-natural earth-made stone.
3. What are your hours?
Mon. - Fri. 7:30-5:30; Sat. 9:00-4:30, closed

4. How is stone sold?
Most of our products are sold by weight, either per pound or per ton. We offer dimensional cut pavers and stair treads that are sold by the square foot, and our bubblers are sold by the linear foot.
5. How much do I have to buy?
As little or as much as you like. However there are pricing advantages to buying quantities of ½ ton or more.
6. How much is a ton?
2,000 lbs per ton.
7. How much does a full pallet of stone weigh?
Most are 1.5-2 tons each (3-4,000 lbs).
8. Can we pick the rocks we want?
Yes, but in a row we ask that you pick out of the first two pallets when possible.
9. Do you deliver?
Delivery is available.
10. How much time do you need to setup
delivery? We ask for two days whenever
possible, but talk to us if you need it sooner
and we'll work hard to accommodate your schedule.
It makes it easier on everyone involved if
there is a comfortable time frame to work
in.
11. How much is delivery?
It depends upon the amount and type of stone and location.
12. How much does each rock weigh, or how many are in a ton?
It varies greatly because there are many different sizes, or grades. For example, we have 5 different sizes of the Iron Mountain alone, which allows a range of 60-225 sq.ft. per ton.
13. How much stone will I need for my project?
Estimate how much you'll need by measuring your square footage, which is length x width. This applies to walkways or patios, and walls too. Since there are different thicknesses of the stone and depending on the application, it can vary a lot. Visit our how to page for further details, or stop by the store and the square foot coverage is posted on our signs, and included in our pricelist.
14. Do you sell crushed gravels, or
other ground cover such as bark?
The only ground cover we offer is rainbow
river rock and it is available in many different
sizes.
15. What other products do you offer?
Pond supplies (including pumps, liners, hose
and fittings), granite statuaries, diamond
cutting blades, custom hand carved birdbaths
and bubblers.
16. Do I have to load my own vehicle?
We have equipment to assist loading your vehicle, however if you have a smaller enclosed vehicle please keep in mind we may be limited as to what can be loaded.
17. Do you have samples available?
Yes, we encourage you to take as many samples as you need.
18. What is a 1-man or 2-man rock?
It's the general size of a boulder considered in terms of how many men it would take to move it using a large bar for leverage. A one-man rock is a rock up to 300 lbs. A two man rock is about 300-1,000 lbs.
19. Do you design or install?
No, but we would be happy to pass along a recommendation of landscape designers/contractors or stone masons. |
